hey people who read this blog! XD Quick update jsut so you know that I'm still alive haha. So I've been like insane busy the past couple weeks! First I had the regional tournament for Science Olympiad... Soooo fun and funny! I didn't medal in any of my events but the team is going to states!!!! Which is really good! We got 7th out of the 10 teams that go to states and I'm super psyched! Then I had softball try-outs for the school team and I made it! So between practices for Science Olympiad, practices for school softball and practices for the other softball team I've been pretty busy!! I'll blog again soon (hopefully!)

wow that last post was a long one! haha well anywayyyyyy.... i was talking about swimming right? okay... not a freestyle person. that's what i was talking about! haha...

anyway! i don't do freestyle but i do do breast. i went to Junior Olympics when i was a 10u... i went for 100 breast. i did really bad because i went and i was sick, i think i ended up having strep or something! but it was cool. also if anyone didn't know an IM is short for individual medley, a 200 IM would be 2 laps fly, 2 laps back, 2 laps breast, and 2 laps free (in that order). a medley relay is made up of 4 people, a 200 medley relay would be 2 laps back, 2 laps breast, 2 laps fly, 2 laps free (in that order each person does 2 laps of a different stroke). a free relay is the same as a medley just all free. well that's swimming in like one post! i really didn't explain much butttt.... im not gonna explain softball here. i'll save that for later :)

Swim-meet!

Heyyyyy! i had a swim meet today in the afternoon. it was a middle school meet, just for the people in middle school.... i did pretty good (grammar says it's 'i did well'). i haven't gotten my times or official places yet but i think i did okay... i did 7 events. that's A LOT in a regular meet you can do up to 4 events. i swam in the 200 medley relay (i did breaststroke [breast]), 200 freestyle (free), 50 free, 50 butterfly (fly), 50 backstroke (back), 50 breast, and i swam 3rd in the 200 free relay. this is how i think i placed: 2nd in the medley, 2nd (or 3rd) in the 200 free, 5th (but i really don't know) in 50 free, 5th in fly, 3rd in 50 back, 2nd (YAY! i lost to a girl 2 years older than me so...) in 50 breast, 2nd in the 200 free relay. i know some of my times: 50 back i got a 37 (eh so-so time), 38.69 in 50 breast (YAY! 2nd best time!), 30 something in 50 free... i don't know about the other ones though.

i only signed up to do 3 events and a relay but for some reason my coach put me in those other events. i hurt my arm by pitching and swimming to much way back in july and i couldn't play any sports for about 8 weeks while i was in physical therapy snd my arm was healing. when i could do sports i still couldn't do freestyle or my arm (elbow specifically) would hurt. its gotten a little better but i still can't do the freestyle sets we do at practice. i can't remember the last time i did a 200 free in a race. i never really did free in races anyway, im a breaststroker or an IM'er. basically everything but freestyle! im gonna write more in a different post sooo bye for now!

I had a meet last saturday and I got my best time in breaststroke! i got a 38! yayayayayay! thats really good! well byeeeee
